If you have your recordings directories NFS mounted on <whatever system> 
running mythlink.pl on that system will create links to all the 
recordings, regardless of which host recorded them.

If you do not use NFS, just run mythlink.pl on each backend.

You don't want mythlink.pl to create links to files that aren't 
accessible from the current system--the links would be useless.
