Ash,
    Your jamu run information is confusing as you used options "--MWV" 
which has one too many "-" dashes. It should have been "-MWV". Now as 
for "MythFunc.py" it seems you have it in multiple places which can 
always lead to trouble. If I were you I would remove the 
"/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/MythTV" directory entirely.

Here is what you should see in directory 
"/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/MythTV":
