OK, testing shows that this works, though I sometimes miss the first
digit of the channel change, and once missed the "exit" command.  This
is if I do it all in a single line (e.g., 6200ch -n1 -m -e 609).  Not
a problem since I can simply create a script to insert a slight
additional delay prior to issuing the channel command.
