[mythtv-users] How would you handle the kids leaving Live Tv on all the time?

I've been watching this thread with amusement, since I have no kids in the 
house. My first though involved a large stick to be used when the little ones 
offend.

Charging the kids per minute watched over a pre-set limit might work, either 
charge them money or impose chore-based "fines".

Requiring them to pedal a bicycle-type generator in order to run the TV set 
might be interesting.

A pop-up of some sort that requires viewer input to continue (similar to what 
Nielsen used to do) might work as well.
