Is there a syntax for this that allows this test player to play a file from another Linux box on the LAN, e.g. 

mythavtest file:{IPADDRESS}/parent/child/file.mpg 

which does not seem to work.

Also can this receive a udp (or other?) stream direct from a DVB-T Hdhomerun over the LAN?
