Agreed. I'm currently looking into the possibility of enabling a kind
of mulitrec for analog capture. So far, I think this is the best long
term, scalable solution.

Agreed. Marathons and genre clusters are currently my nightmare...
especially if I want to transfer to DVD.

Thanks very much for the all the background on this issue anyway!
My thinking is that some of the ground work should have been done
already by multirec.

Let's hope a -REAL- solution is possible... and made available.
