Assuming you live where it is legal, I'd guess you have one of the newer DVDs 
that incorporate many small titles and a "jump around" menu structure, 
intended to prevent ripping.

I'd try using Handbrake or one of the rippers that tries to follow the menu 
pointers to obtain a usable rip. The authors of those specialty programs try 
to keep up with the latest tricks of the DVD makers, something the Myth devs 
don't have the time for.
