Thanks again, but so far this is proving anything but trivial,
probably mostly due to my lack of knowledge. I downloaded scte65scan
(and libhdhomerun), compiled it, and ran it. But I've got two
problems... 1) Running scte65scan only picked up the channels that I
can pick up with the Pace DTA box that Comcast provides, and not any
of the local HD channels, which at least so far I am still getting in
the clear. Reading the wiki page for scte65scan I imagine it is doing
exactly what it is supposed to do, but I'm really most interested in
the HD channels. 2) As I mentioned in my original message, I also
have an HD-PVR, so deleting all video sources wiped out all the work I
had done to set this up. Again, it did exactly what was expected, but
if I decide to stick with what I have now I will have to setup the
HD-PVR channel line-up from scratch.
I think I need to restore from backup and do some more research before
I get myself into deeper trouble.
