Often attorneys choose a jurisdiction known to be favorable to nonsense suits 
like this, so it may not have been a "reasonable court".

It's a "proposed settlement", it was not imposed by any judge or jury, but the 
attorneys in such cases generally know what the court that has jurisdiction is 
likely to approve.
