You can set the monitor size in the display section above and then X and
mythfrontend will (or at least should) automatically do the right thing and
display the recordings in the proper aspect ratio:
Add the following line and replace the numbers with the actual size of your
TV:
DisplaySize 286 179 # In millimeters
