I own a 37" LG and it reports that it is a 1920x1200 lcd when it is not.
It is 1360x756.
You will need to patch an edid.bin file, remove all references to
HorizSync and VertRefresh in the Monitor Section of xorg.conf and add
the following to the Screen section.
Option "UseEdidDpi" "false"
Option "UseConstantDpi" "false"
Option "CustomEDID" "DFP-0:/etc/X11/edid.bin"
SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1360x768" "1024x768"
EndSubSection
