1360x768 is a standard resolution for lower priced LCD panels in the 32" 
range. Manufacturers are infamous for claiming specs that have nothing to do 
with the native resolution of the panels used, often by claiming "1080i" or 
"1080p" when the set will simply downscale to the panel's res, as Bill pointed 
out.

They are not technically lying, just taking advantage of consumer confusion, 
and trying to profit from it.
