There are 2 PCIe 1x cards, Sil3132 based, with 2 SATA 3GB ports on each
card. Each port is connected to a 5 way port multiplier (so I'm expecting
some speed reduction there too). The CPU is an older E2100, running at 2GHz,
with 4GB RAM - so not exactly overpowered, but it's only running a minimal
FC, and all it's doing is file serving.. Currently there are 17 x 500GB
drives connected in a RAID5, and the chunk size is set to 512K, and the
stride on the ext3 filesystem is set to 256.
