Spent a while googling this afternoon and have turned up a couple of 
other posts here and there that mention the table dtv_multiplex.  The 
first one mentioned that sourceid and networkid must be populated - in 
my case networkid wasn't.  Looking on kingofset.net indicated that all 
the Astra network IDs are 2, so I put that in.  Still wasn't working, so 
continued searching and found another post that indicated sistandard 
should be set to dvb - this was also blank.  Once this was populated as 
well, myth has now started pulling in the EIT data.  I'd originally 
populated the channel info using a myth channel scan, not by importing 
channels.conf etc - guess this might be a bug in the system where it's 
not populating these columns correctly?  I did however run the scan some 
time ago, so not sure what revision I would have been on at that point.
