my MBE is at 192.168.0.5 the results seem to imply a prompt response to
the dig and that host 192.168.0.5 does a reverse lookup and fails,
perhaps because my router (192.168.0.1) doesn't know the hostnames of
the PCs.
I don't think DNS is the problem.
