You know we have a Channel Editor GUI for a reason. No. Strike that.
We have *3* official Channel Editor GUIs for a reason. (mythtv-setup
Channel Editor, mythfrontend Channel Editor, MythWeb Channel Editor)

At least please don't post to the list the commands you use to
circumvent all of our in-application data integrity checks. If you
choose to do bad things, please try not to encourage others to do the
same. :)

And before you say, "It's too clumsy using the Channel Editor when I
have 300 channels," go check out the MythWeb channel editor.

Glad you've got it all working, though.

Mike

Note: This post isn't directly solely at one user. It's a general
reminder to everyone: if you're going to do things the wrong way,
please keep it to yourself. I spend enough of my time inspecting and
telling users how to fix the databases they've broken by doing the
aforementioned Bad Things, and don't have time to deal with an increase
in the number of broken databases. (Oh, and remember that bad data is
not usually recognized immediately--often it's a ticking time bomb.)
Thanks.
