Thanks, I could only found wishlist for addons, I will search again.

Then it seems it doesn't work, I do indeed record into a sub-directory, but
MythTV merrily said it was recording into a subfolder of a drive for several
hours yesterday that was no longer mounted at all.

Perhaps so, but this is what I've got, and I have no money to do otherwise.
