[mythtv-users] Anyone had any luck streaming from MythTV backend to Sony BDPS370 using UPnP

I've had a Sony BDPS370 for a few weeks. I noticed a software
update the other day, and now it can stream using DLNA. At
first it looked like it could see my backend but not play
anything on it, but it turns out it can play just about
anything, provided I rename it on the server to .avi
Obviously that's not really a practical option, especially
with recordings. I don't really know much about UPnP, so
maybe it's more to do with mime type than file name. I
tried editing /etc/mime.types, and giving mpg, m4v, mp4
all the same type as avi, but that didn't seem to help. I
wonder about adding an option to Myth's UPnP to make it
lie about the files and pretend they are all .avi.

Anyone else messed with this at all?

Cheers,
	Paul.
