[mythtv-users] MythNetvision -- no audio

Chris,
    First thing to check is that Flash audio is working in another 
browser (e.g. Firefox). I have had to restart ALSA to get Flash audio to 
work and/or shut down Firefox if it had played any flash videos.
    
ALSA restart:
sudo /etc/init.d/alsa-utils restart

ALSA force reload (only do this if the restart did not work):
sudo /sbin/alsa force-reload

Assuming that you could get flash working in Firefox but the ALSA 
restarts did not work or you do not have Firefox installed and cannot 
test Flash audio independent of MythBrowser then you could reboot your 
machine and test MythNetvision as the very first action after the 
reboot. This may show you that some other program is grabbing exclusive 
control of your audio out.
