[mythtv-users] ffmpeg -i says: Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 59.94 (60000/1001) -> 29.97 (30000/1001)

What is this error about?  I've seen this in lots of postings (including 
my own) but have not seen an explanation of why this happens.

My recordings are created by MythTV .23 using the analog portion of an 
Hauppauge HVR-1600.

Is ffmpeg -i wrong?

Is the HBR-1600 driver wrong?  I use the driver from the hg
repository, as explained in:
  <http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HVR-1600>

Is something else in MythTV filling in the container frame rate 
incorrectly?
