Yes as a matter of fact!...I get this on almost all VIDEO_TS
directories as well and filed a bug the other day:

It just hangs when I exit with either the remote or keyboard. It only
occurs in conjunction with lirc as far as I can see.

I need to get them a gdb trace of it when I get a chance.  Problem is
I have everything compiled with -fomit-frame-pointer, and I'm not sure
if just recompiling xine-ui without it will be good enough.  If you
have any insight on that I'd like to know.

I had to temporarily go back to xine-ui-0.99.5-r1 in the mean time.
The ebuild isn't in portage any more and I had to get it off one of my
non-updated boxes and put in my overlay.
