Well.. it's the same as this thread:  IguanaIR -> DC50X
My question was generated from the word "through" as in sending a
command through a fireware cable to the STB. That would seem a
different command than sending the number "3" to a channel changer
script to send to an IR transmitter.

Then again, I guess it all depends on that channel changer script.
