Just make sure you read through all the code that uses the data from the
storage group table so that you understand all of the data
requirements/boundary conditions/etc. before modifying the data.
Just because it looks like it works somewhere doesn't mean that you
didn't break things...
And, really, why can't you shut down mythbackend for 2 seconds?
