What he means by delete one at a time was delete cards on localhost.
Deleting all on local only removes the records of those cards and starts at
the number following the highest numbered card that was last added.
Deleting all cards will wipe the table and start at 1 again.

I did this a few times as well, I used to have 1 card in my front/backend
and 5 cards in my backend. The single card was 1 and the 5 were 2 to 6.
Since removing the old frontend I had to delete all the cards to have them
numbered 1 - 5.
