Hello Bob,
You probably need to first establish whether your color problem is
with the display in general, or whether it is an issue with your
tuner. You should probably render the colorbars without an analog
capture source if possible - for example, by using MythtTV's built in
DVD player. Then once you know the display is calibrated, you can run
the colorbars through the analog capture device (if you have an analog
tuner).
In terms of calibrating the display, how this is done depends on what
video card you have. For Nvidia cards, there is actually a control
panel to control the color configuration.
In terms of calibrating analog tuner inputs, you typically do this
through the use of v4l2 controls.
