Evening
Coincidentally I was just looking to change the theme today (before I
read any of this thread). I have just purchased a zotac board for my
secondary frontend. This has meant that we can upgrade all frontends
to a theme which shows off 0.22 I avoid having different UIs on
different TVs...
we tried graphite as it looks absolutely amazign and I thank the
developer for producing a spectacular theme. However I prefer a theme
that uses fan-art and thumbnails to add to the usability as well as
the look. Dont get me wrong I am sure Graphite works for some, but
with the size of screens we have it isn't quite there for us.
Anyway, I settled on trying mythbuntu and also blue-abstract... and
I'm swapping between them.. I think they are both great themes, but
the readability of abstract is fantastic after installing it
tonight.... maybe it would be even possible to increase transparency
of file browser menu-bars a little more. I know these settings were
just changed today! ;-)
Mythbuntu can be hard to read with the amount of transparency used, so
it could be a fine balancing act to get it right and it may even be
system dependant as well as personal taste.
thanks again to all three developers of the themes.
