Thanks Mike for your help. You were correct about the Input connections
being incorrect. I deleted the channel I had created (channel scan just
refused to run earlier), and then deleted the Video Source and started
again.
I ran the channel scan, and it found channel 2 (which doesn't exist in
reality... oh well) and it stopped at channel 3. I opened up the frontend
and it tuned to static on channel 2! Unfortunately, it stays that way when
I try to type in the channel number. I can't get it to tune to channel 4
properly if I manually create it (using the same settings that channel 2 was
created with). It will crash with an error.
The status of the channel scan stays at "Scanning us-bcast 2 No Lock" and
just stays there. Signal Strength and Scan are both at 0%. I just searched
a bit and I can't find anything at all. I just need channel 4 to work so
that I can tune into my DirecTV R-15 receiver. I will be setting up another
box later using S-Video, but I need this input to work too for occasional
recording from this box from across the house.
Thanks again for your help.
