I'm netbooting my IONITX-C-U and stream recordings from the backend and 
am not seeing any issues like this so far (I'm still building it out, 
just got the remote and VFD working, still need my Powermate and Matrix 
Orbital buttons to work before deploying it).  I'll try to double check 
with ifconfig when I get home tonight.
