Yes, that is truly evidence to the contrary about your card being able
to use VDPAU for the MPEG2 you are trying to play.
What it seems to me to point to is an audio misconfiguration in MythTV
that is causing the stuttering.
One test you may want to try is to make note of all your audio
settings, then go into General Setup, and change the Audio output
device to ALSA:default and the channels to Stereo (Audio settings are
in the process of changing, so it may depend upon what version you are
using as to what the descriptions are)
Now, you may not get sound at all, but if the Video stream doesn't
stutter, then that verifies the Audio is the issue. There may be
better ways to do such testing, and others may have better ideas and
hopefully someone will chime in.
