[mythtv-users] No recordings shown? and OpenDatabase(), db object is not valid!

The log messages sound like the existing bug I mentioned in
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/7836#comment:1 .  That should be
fixed in trunk as of r23057.  I have no explanation for why it took
two restarts to fix playback.
