Thanks. That's good info.

The problem here is this switch over is made far more difficult (as
far as I understand) because 0.21 frontends won't be able to talk to
the updated 0,22 backend. If I'm wrong about then please correct me.

My backend is headless so it's not easy to determine if it's working
until I update at least 1 frontend. I have 5 dedicated frontend so the
complete upgrade is (for me) 6 Gentoo machines. It's a lot of work, a
lot of time, and if something doesn't work, a big drop in WAF.

I'm just going to be VERY careful and let others go first. None the
less I do appreciate your inputs. Thanks!
