[mythtv-users] US Broadcasting bastards

I know the US TV broadcasters try anything they can to make it
extremely difficult for us to timeshift broadcasts / skip watching
their ads nowadays, and the one that really made me mad with directv
was the 2 minute late ending shows.  Their DVRs had no easy way to
stop the recording 2 minutes early, or start one 2 minutes late.  I am
sure they are in cahoots with the broadcasters on this one somehow :)

Only start early, and end late.  Much to my dismay, mythtv is the same
way.  I can obviously do a manual entry that hits on the exact time,
but it is a pain to do it each time I see it.  Would be nice to have
those 2 options as well, rather than just the included 2 for start
early and end late..

I guess what I am asking is if the "power rule" option is my only way
to accomplish this.  I do not have an issue creating the query - just
want to make sure it is the right/only way to accomplish this.
