Likewise, I'm not that concerned about Advanced 2X, the available de-ints look 
OK to my aged eyes.

I do think an extra GB of RAM is a must for using the R1600s as frontends, so 
factor that cost into the equation if considering one. I got a second GB for 
about $22.
