I have an All For One learning remote that I've been trying to get to
emulate the imon pad remote and I haven't been able to get a
satisfactory setup.

The real imon remote, upon receiving a button press, seems to send a
code once, then pause, then go into repeat mode.  When configuring
licr to receive commands from this remote, it works best to have lirc
act on every received command.

I can't get the AFO remote to have the same repeat structure.  When it
learns a command, it seems to sometimes configure the key for
immediate repeat mode, sometimes for no repeat mode, and sometimes for
a limited repeat mode, where it might send the key 4-6 times and then
stop until the key is released and repressed.

I still haven't been able to get this receiver working satisfactorily
with anything other than the original remote it shipped with, but you
might have better luck with the harmony.
