[mythtv-users] Internal Player: subtitle delay

Is there a possible to active a subtitle delay with the internal player?
I have some recordings with subtitle (srt) that became misaligned (es. 
after a commercial break).

mplayer has this option that add a +/- delay for subtitle with the 
command (es for lirc) sub_delay + 1.

I would like something similar with the Internal player especially now 
with the .22 where mplayer doesn't work as alternative player.
