Thanks for that information, and I'll certainly give it a try.
However I'm using DVB-T and some of my content appears to be 720x576
and some 544x576 so I can foresee problems there.
Are you in the UK (or do you know whether what you said applies in the
UK)? Somewhere I read that the uneven scrolling might be down to the
fact that nvidia only supports 60Hz refresh rates over S-Video and
programme content in the UK has a 25Hz frame rate. I don't really
know if the second fact is true, but I can only get 60Hz modelines
working on the S-Video output, and it sounded a plausible theory.
