I CC'd the -dev list to make sure it's seen, but if you think I should 
open a ticket, I can do that too some time later.

MythTV is primarily designed to be controlled remotely - I reckon 
whatever patch is there ready to help in this regard, it should be 
welcome, right? :) This snippet just adds a reasonable option for LIRC 
users: there are several MythUI applications so it should be possible to 
tell them apart if one desires. My $0.02 :)
