It worked out of the box for me (at least in myth, once I'd set the 
output to alsa:hdmi) - running mythbuntu 9.10 and 0.22-fixes.  I've yet 
to get it working in mythbuntu in general outside of myth, but I've not 
yet played about too much in order to do so - I understand it might be 
as simple as unmuting some outputs in the mixer.
