I too have experienced the 'lose all metadata by scanning videos from within MythWeb", but was wondering whether to file a bug against MythWeb itself or my distribution - MythBuntu 9.10 + all fixes.

Can others confirm, or does anyone know how to disable the video section of MythWeb?
