That's true.  I just went into LiveTV to see, and it's bright in there 
as well.  Pressing the left arrow on my remote only raises the 
brightness.  However, if I use my keyboard, I can lower it.  So I guess 
the left arrow isn't mapped on my remote as I had thought.
