You need to decide, for each channel, whether you want EIT or xmltv data.

If you want xmltv data then set the xmltv_id in the channel editor and
uncheck the "Use EIT" flag.

If you want to use EIT data then check the "Use EIT" data flag and
don't enter an xmltv_id.  You then need to make sure that either your
xmltv data doesn't contain any listings for channels for which you
haven't set a corresponding xmltv_id, or run mythfilldatabase with the
"--update" option, which will not create new channels if the XMLTV
file contains IDs that are not configured on the video source you are
populating listings for.
