Just another comment (still not time to setup and try your advice)... I 
have notice that MythWelcome says that I have 3 tuners while I only have 
one. I get messages like Tuner 1 recording, tuner 2 idle and tuner 3 

I have a Nova T-500 dual tuner...any idea? Can this be the cause of the 
above weird behaviour?
