Heh. I stopped buying Sony products because my first Digital camera from them used to eat customer Li-Ion batteries (at $50 a crack). I never got the full expected life from the battery and I knew why.

After a charge, the batteries were *hot*. (not just warm) They weren't charging the pack properly and letting it overheat.

Shame on Sony. They should have known better.

That was 13yrs ago. I'm not shocked but saddened that mistakes like with chargers are still being made.
