Well, one or more of those my mask the problem by cleaning up some funky
data, but ultimately, a segfault is a bug, Period. Full stop.
It would be much better to keep the funky data so that the segfault can
be fixed rather than bandaiding over it by cleaning up the data. If any
of that even works.
You should try to get a stack trace from the segfault and report it to
trac.
