[mythtv-users] myth 0.24 cannot get sound on one channel

Hi,

I am unable to get sound to playback for one channel.  All other
channels work fine.  The channel is KCOP (channel 13) here in Los
Angeles.  I don't know if this channel worked with any version previous
to myth 0.24 since, until very recently, I was unable to tune this
channel (OTA).

I have one other weird sound problem with channel 11 (KTTV).  Initially
I don't get sound, but if I skip forward several minutes I get sound.  I
can then skip back to the beginning and sound playback is fine.  Perhaps
an interesting tidbit is that KTTV and KCOP are related.  I think FOX
owns both of them.

I have attached a log when I attempt to play something from KCOP.  I
used -v audio.  I don't see anything interesting, but I don't know what
to look for either.  In the log I am using LiveTV, but recorded shows
don't work either.  Also in the log I am using the ALSA:default output 
device which I manully entered in the sound setup screen.  Since then I 
have changed to using ALSA:iec958:CARD=CMI9738,DEV=0 as the output
device (this is a device found during the audio device scan) and the
same problem persists.  My other sound settings:
  speaker config: 5.1
  AC3 / DTS passthrough checked
  upmix quality: 0
