Have they asked?

It's clear that the cable providers don't care about dealing with
individual customers with this, but if they had a single company to
negotiate with and that company was willing to provide support ($$$)
for the work of packaging and formating this information, it might be
a workable deal.

On the other hand, the new HDHR Prime might be able to provide this
info by reading the same frequency tables sent to the set top boxes.
It must have it, since the new API is supposed to be based on virtual
channel numbers and not frequencies and program ids.
