I am directed to a location that does not seem to have any download
functionality:

http://linuxtv.org/hg/~anttip/af9015-mxl500x-copy-fw/

I see a listing with link ZIP; gz; and bz2 but if I select any of them I do
not get the download file dialog in my browser??

What is meant to happen when you select these links? It's like it takes you
to an identical page with the same listing. Is this where I get drivers? I
have never seen a site like this which cannot be used by ordinary people??

What should I download and how do I compile and install? This should not
be this hard and perplexing. What is wrong with a downloadable archive that
can be expanded and installed with an installation programme?

Can you offer specific advice to a novice that is trying to learn?

Kind Regards

Anthony
