table as orphans, I recent lost my OS disk due to hardware failure and went
about mannually inserting the missing recordings back into the database from
a 3 month old database dump I had on a network share as I later found the
database backup script was dumping the db on the same disk as the OS and
mysql data, completely my fault for not changing this.

you can run mythcommflag --rebuild (from memory) to build seek tables for
any recordings that are missing them.
