[mythtv-users] Strange errors causing slow startup of mythfrontend -- source?

I have two remote frontends just built using Mythbuntu 10.04 within
the last week or so and both were working fine for awhile. Now, one is
working as expected and one is taking a much longer time to start up
mythfrontend. These frontends are meant to be configured the same
way, but apparently I've done something different or changed the one
that is acting up in some way. Here is a slice from mythfrontend.log
on the problem system:

2010-08-27 22:05:21.379 Current MythVideo Schema Version
(mythvideo.DBSchemaVer): 1032
2010-08-27 22:05:21.439 Cannot load language en_us for module mythvideo

2010-08-27 22:05:21.942 MythContext: Connecting to backend server:

mount: can't find /dev/sdc in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
2010-08-27 22:06:21.922 Failed to mount /dev/sdc.

Problem is, I don't know what is prompting this system to go looking
for /dev/sdb and /dev/sdc. They have never existed on this system
(nor on the other frontend for that matter). There _are_ /dev/sdb and
/dev/sdc, along with /dev/sdd on the master backend.

Before someone goes there, no, the frontends were not implemented by
cloning the backend O/S disk and reconfiguring.

Any hints as to what is going wrong?

Craig.
