[mythtv-users] mythtvsetup does not recognize my firewire connected STB

FWIW On all of my firewire setups, as soon as I select firewire I get a
response on the screen, and can get a menu of boxen to choose from.
This has been true except when using either of two ( purchased new ) 
firewire cables.
I have three others that work well.
I can't begin to guess what might be wrong with those two cables and I've
been messing with this stuff ( cables ) since before the first transistor.
The two bad cables will pass a static test.
You really have to just love that Chinese stuff.
